Sprinkle your florals around
A tulip bouquet can add joy to several rooms when you place them in small bottles or vases. Also tealight holders make excellent tiny vases.

Add pussy willows for a touch of spring
Collect twigs from the willows or other trees in your garden and make a fun arrangement with them and tulips in a vase. Even bare and rough twigs add a nice twist to the bouquet.

Play with different dishes
Instead of a high vase, try presenting your tulips in a shallow bowl. Tulips reaching their long necks over the edges of the bowl make a wonderful centrepiece, even for a large table.
Tricks to make tulips last longer!
- Trim the stems.
- Add only a little cold water in the vase. This will keep the flowers perky.
- Change water daily.
- Keep the vase in a cool rather than a warm room. If the flowers are on a sun-bathed table by the day, you can put them in the cellar, for example, for the night.
